ACU Living and Learning Communities
ACU Living and Learning Communities aim to provide the opportunities for student support and development. At ACU education is holistic, our Living and Learning communities promote academic achievement, health and wellbeing, sport, spirituality, internationalisation, leadership and community engagement.
ACU is pleased to offer two accommodation options for students in 2016:
- ACU Managed Residences self-catered accommodation in share houses managed by the university
- MacKillop House fully catered accommodation for female students
Located in the suburbs surrounding the campus, the University provides a number of fully furnished Managed Residences for students on a yearly or half-yearly basis.
Our Managed Residences allow tenants the privacy and independence of renting privately with the added benefit of Residential Staff support. These houses are available to all students and staff.
Managed Residence tenants have access to:
- their own single fully furnished bedroom in a 3 or 4 bedroom house
- fully furnished shared living areas
- fully equipped kitchens
- on-campus housing support
- free on-site or street parking
- fully inclusive rental fee (gas and electricity expenses included).
Note: the residences are self-catered. Tenants look after their own cleaning and cooking and are responsible for supplying their own towels, linen, doona and/or blankets.
Applications are now open for 2017
Please note, there is a non-refundable fee of $75.00 payable on all accommodation applications.
