Mary Glowrey is only the second Australian to be considered for official recognition as a saint. She was declared a Servant of God in 2013.
On 29 May 2017, the Mary Glowrey Museum opened on ACU’s Melbourne campus. Thanks to sponsorship from ACU and a range of other funders, the Museum has become a reality.
The Museum features Mary’s story and legacy, illustrated by selections from her extensive correspondence with family and friends in Australia. It includes audio-visual and interactive experiences and is situated in the building used by the Catholic Women’s Social Guild in 1916. The Museum highlights the difference that one person can make in the lives of others.
