ACU National's Centre for Early Christian Studies
The Centre for Early Christian Studies is a research and teaching centre endorsed by the Senate of Australian Catholic University. With seventeen members, it comprises the largest centre for Patristics studies within Australia. Our twelve international consultants contribute expertise in the fields of biblical studies, early church history, art history, early Christian theology and philosophy. CECS staff and consultants undertake research and supervision in a wide range of topics within these areas.
In conjunction with St Pauls Press the Centre publishes the Early Christian Studies monograph series and its popular conference series, Prayer and Spirituality in the Early Church.
