New Students

Welcome to the ACU Library

Getting started

Your student card is your library borrowing card and your photocopy/printing card.

  • Borrowing: Details on what you can borrow, for how long, renewing loans and how to request an item that is already on loan can be found here.
  • Copying and Printing: Costs of both printing and photocopying (A4, A5, colour and black & white) can be found here.

Messages from the Library will be sent to your student email address.
Note: the Library uses official ACU student email to communicate with students. It is important to check your ACU student email regularly.

Library resources

  • Catalogue and eBooks: Use the Library catalogue to locate resources, such as books, ebooks, journals, DVD/Videos, CDs and educational toys and games at any ACU Library.
  • Databases and eJournals: Use databases to access information from journals, ebooks, newspapers, reference works and much more.
  • Subject Guides: Use these guides to locate a variety of subject specific resources to get you started with your research.

You will need your network password to access the databases and ebooks when you are off-campus.
