Reciprocal, Alumni, Community & Courtesy Borrowers

Reciprocal

Students and staff from other universities are eligible to borrow from ACU Library under the University Libraries Australia (ULA), UNILINC Network and CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing programs. To register at the campus library from which you want to borrow you need to have a photo ID and proof of enrollment / employment at your home institution. There is no charge for registration.

Alumni

Graduates of the University and its predecessor colleges may borrow at a cost of $55.00 for 12 months including GST. At the Library Manager's discretion, a 6 monthly fee of half the rate of the annual fee may be charged for Alumni. Evidence of graduation is required. Alumni borrowers are also eligible for access to selected databases for which the Library has acquired Alumni access. For more details contact the Library.

Community

Members of the community may join the library at a cost of $88.00 for 12 months including GST.  Community members under the age of 18 will require the signature of a parent of guardian to guarantee the payment of any outstanding debts. At the Library Manager's discretion, a 6 monthly fee of half the rate of the annual fee may be charged. Other local arrangements may exist. Contact your nearest ACU library for further information.

Courtesy

Clergy, members of religious orders, members of the University Senate and State Chapters are eligible for library membership without charge on presentation of appropriate documentation.  Former members of ACU staff are eligible for courtesy membership for three years after they finish employment.
