Quality Management Committee
Terms of Reference
The Quality Management Committee is established by the Vice-Chancellor to oversee the implementation of the University’s Quality Management Policy.
The functions of the Committee are:
- To oversee the implementation of the University’s Quality Management Policy;
- To oversee the preparation and annual review of Strategic Implementation Plans by nominated organisational units; which will include identified quality improvement initiatives;
- To co-ordinate the University’s preparations for external quality audits conducted by the Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA);
- To make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor on the development and use of performance indicators for strategic planning, quality and review purposes;
- To make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor on the expenditure of funds from internal and external sources allocated for quality management purposes; and
- To improve the University’s Quality Management Policy through regular review.
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Quality and Engagement), assisted by the Manager (Planning and Quality) will have responsibility for the implementation of the University’s Quality Management Policy.
