Quality Management Committee

Terms of Reference

The Quality Management Committee is established by the Vice-Chancellor to oversee the implementation of the University’s Quality Management Policy.

The functions of the Committee are:

To oversee the implementation of the University’s Quality Management Policy;
To oversee the preparation and annual review of Strategic Implementation Plans by nominated organisational units; which will include identified quality improvement initiatives;
To co-ordinate the University’s preparations for external quality audits conducted by the Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA);
To make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor on the development and use of performance indicators for strategic planning, quality and review purposes;
To make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor on the expenditure of funds from internal and external sources allocated for quality management purposes; and
To improve the University’s Quality Management Policy through regular review.

The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Quality and Engagement), assisted by the Manager (Planning and Quality) will have responsibility for the implementation of the University’s Quality Management Policy.
