Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Quality and Engagement)
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Quality and Engagement) is the senior officer of the University based at the Brisbane Campus (McAuley at Banyo).
Professor John O'Gorman, BA, PhD (Qld) FAPS commenced as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Quality and Engagement) in 2004.
The portfolio of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Quality and Engagement) includes:
- Resident Pro-Vice-Chancellor in Queensland;
- Community Engagement: partnering with community groups, local and international, for the achievement of mutually agreed outcomes consistent with the University's Mission;
- Indigenous Education: policy and planning in consultation with the Indigenous Education Units;
- Planning and Quality: overseeing the University's approach to planning and quality management;
- Campus Operations (Brisbane Campus): overall responsibility for the Brisbane Campus.
